Happy International Cat Day!

International Cat Day is here and we love celebrating cats all over the world. Welcome to Coco & Boo’s new website and our new blog, where we will keep you informed on anything pet related, plus goings on in and around Southern California and especially the San Diego Metropolitan Area.

We love animals and it shows.

What a purrfect day to start this blog.  IT’S INTERNATIONAL CAT DAY!!!!!!

And we at Coco & Boo are creating a Feline Frenzy about our whiskered friends.

International Cat Day is celebrated annually on August 8^th as a day of celebration and recognition to honor our feline friends and to advocate for their well being, safety and quality of life.  Originally created in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare as a day when people were encouraged to go to their local animal shelter and rescue a needy cat. https://www.ifaw.org/united-states/solr-search/cat%20day

In the past 16 years the awareness of this special day and the festivities around it has grown considerably across the world and there are about as many ways to celebrate International Cat Day as there are varieties of cats.

There are many ways to help support and celebrate the lives of cats.

1. VOLUNTEER AT YOUR LOCAL SHELTER
2. VISIT A CAT CAFE
3. DONATE TO A CAT CHARITY
